Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP®
Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® grew up in a small town in Northeast Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an undergraduate degree in Exercise, Nutrition and Health Sciences in May of 2011. Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® began Chiropractic college in August 2011 at Cleveland Chiropractic College-Kansas City and graduated with the highest distinction in December 2014. Upon graduation, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® returned to Lincoln and began helping the people of Lincoln and surrounding communities.
In July 2017, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® branched out on his own and founded Cornerstone Chiropractic Center with a focus on helping everyone ranging from high-level athletes to weekend warriors, newborns to elderly patients, and everyone in-between. In October 2017, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® opened a satellite clinic in his hometown of Elgin, Nebraska, which he still operates today. Cornerstone became the 1st Chiropractic Clinic in the small town’s history.
In February 2020, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® had the opportunity to become part of an integrative clinic in Omaha where he works hand-in-hand with physical therapists to achieve the most ideal patient outcomes following motor vehicle accidents and workmen’s comp. injuries. Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® treats patients at the Lincoln, Omaha, and Elgin clinics weekly.
Along the way, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® has added certifications in many soft tissue modalities including Graston Technique and became a board-certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. This training has allowed Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® to become an expert in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of sports injuries. This training has allowed Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® to become a sought-after source locally in the field of natural-based approaches to sports medicine. Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® has traveled with patients competing as athletes in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, UWW World Cup, and various World and Olympic Team Trials as part of the USOC Volunteer Medical Professionals Team. In his spare time, Dr. Derek A. Scholl, DC, CCSP® enjoys spending time with his family including his two boys, playing and teaching his boys a variety of sports including baseball, and volunteering.
